From what I've played so far it's fixed everything that annoyed me about Simshitty before, so I'm up for a session over the weekend for sure I really like the ability to build bridges over roads and tunnels etc.

I've just noticed leaderboards and global market prices fluctuating which we didn't have before... nice

My name is certainly d0000k little P but the game couldn't even find you so there is obviously an issue. I used 1itt1eP just as you show up on my friends list in Origin and SC couldn't find you.

Not only that but have all our past cities been wiped out? It appears as if I only have 2 saves and I think there both my daughters, wtf

Hmm... yes I do have all my friends still in Origin itself but not Simcity in-game. I'll take a look and see if I can figure out what's going on with these issues...

Well I tried this new patch out. Not to much appears to have changed at the core, some the traffic routing things they said were fixed are blatantly not fixed to much hilarity, other stuff is better. The global market place thing is still not working properly.

Fundamentally its problem is that as its core its just not a good game. Cities are far to small and each ends up being based around one of the specialisations and in the end it gets really very limited and ultimately quite boring. Got to a certain point, alt-F4'ed and loaded up Sim City 4 and had a nice game of that instead.

Hmm... I still enjoy it, and love being able to build bridges and tunnels, although it is kinda hit and miss. Only thing about Simcity 4 is no multiplayer... and I like being able to come and visit your cities and see how you've done it etc. Can't do that with 4 eh?
