You might be a little biased. ;-) And you cannot judge FPS with your eyes.

BF4 is a friggin hardware whore for which a 650ti Boost simply cannot keep 60 FPS (or 50 min.)

You might even average 50 at Ultra, but you are gonna dip down to 35-40 in intense action. Especially if you have any kind of AA enabled.

Again, it is a great card, one of the best bang-for-buck cards. But run the Fraps benchmark for a few minutes while playing BF4 and see for yourself.

Well we will have to agree to disagree I think mate. I can see fps with my eyes! What I mean is I can tell the difference between 30fps and 60, but certainly not small increments no. So I did your little fraps benchark thing. Now, considering I wasn't taking this too seriously and I had all kinds of other programs (including Shadowplay and youtube because I was listening to a live concert) running that I normally shut down when I'm gaming properly I think I'm pretty spot on actually... As for bias, why on earth would I do that lol It doesn't help Engy does it I was just trying to give him the benefit of my experience with this card

Far cry from knowing what I'm doing. But I fake it pretty well. Son has been saving for a few years now, just want to make sure I don't waste his money. Yes I hear you about fairy dust, I have felt that way before about certain things in the past. And no, not ALL dirty things duke.

Ok PC is built. Now whats the best for testing it all out so I can post results. Freaking thing boots up faster then the monitor, grumble grumble grumble....

FPS are certainly better than I expected, although I have to say I was talking about MP, and 64p Obliteration near the bomb is a good test there.

But yeah, it doesn't really matter.

Paul, if you want to benchmark, Unigine Heaven is the one to get. To test in a game, BF4, Crysis 3 or Planetside 2 (more CPU-heavy, plus it's free!) seem like good bets.
