Matt, I tested V3 and V2 in same weather. I still really prefer V2, I am .5 - 1 sec faster on avg on that set and I feel you can be more aggressive in braking on that set.

Sounds good to me. We'll use v2 as our base and tweak that if we need to over the course of practice this week.

So I did a full fuel stint on v2 just now, starting at a 75% track state. Compare to v3 I was slower and murdered the rear tires. I came in with 90+% all the way around on v3, but was down in the low 80%'s on the rears with v2. It wasn't sketchy or undrivable near the end, just a bit more slidey. Probably driving style differences manifesting themselves between the two sets.

I still think I want to try out slightly higher tire pressure and the different gearing this week, as a tweak to v2, but overall I'm fine with it. I was consistently in the low 1:43's and had trouble getting to the 1:42's like I did with v3, but I was consistent and it's safe, so I'm not going to complain.

Do you want me to send a request to join one of the Band of Others teams on the iRacing website. Thought I would ask in advance and not leave it until race day.

Well, I guess Bedo doesn't like either one, no surprise. He is off today and tweaking, but have to honest, I was in an HS last night with a lot of other GTEs and I got down to 1:41.696. I had some draft but only on the first oval. I can be consistently in the low 1:42s even full fuel no draft. Someone ran a 1:40.240 - I am hoping that is with little fuel and draft because that is the fastest I've seen.

We'll see what Bedo comes up with. He tends to like way looser sets than almost anyone else I know, if I'm remembering his setup preferences correctly, so we may have to dial back whatever he does, lol :D

Fuel chart for the Mercedes AMG GT3 is added to the schedule.

I have also downloaded some fuel data for the Ford GTE and Corvette C7 from the file browser, however I still need some pit data from you:
- Average lap time
- Time to replace 4 tires
- TIme to add fuel from empty to full
- Whether or not tires and fuel are done at the same time

For the Ferrari GT3 I know the pit data already.

I may have overlooked some lap time or info because I quickly ran through all pages. If I did, let me know :)

Thanks Noel, Tyres are done at the same time as fuel on the C7 , on their own they take 15 seconds. I think the whole team are averaging a comfortable 1:39 lap time. I will check the full 'standing still in the pits' time at practice pals tonight.

Reinaldo Llerena Is the man. He contacted the powers that be at iRacing and got them to change this weeks IMSA races at Daytona from day to night. We now have a proper race series that we can also use to prepare for the 24hr race. I'm so excited that it got changed. Kick the tires and light the fires!!!!!!

I wasn't sure if there was going to be a Ford GT team for the race and my regular team has offered me a ride in the 488 which I accepted as I wasn't sure if there was going to be a Ford GT team which Marc mentioned on his stream last night.

Sorry guys :-(
