I will be MIA from practice pals tonight, but should be good tomorrow through to race day for any laps people want to turn!

Our Merc Team consists of @Jes_971 and @LoucMachine and could certainly use one more Driver at this time. Since I'm the one who's been pestering you for years @Tony to join us in Endurance it makes sense if you want to run with us in the Merc.

If not that's ok too :)
The front page currently says our Mercedes team has 5 drivers. If Tony, or one of the Audi drivers joins the Mercedes we should probably split that team up into two. Probably also speaking for @SavreticD, I think 6 drivers is a bit much.

Ya currently we have 3 Drivers and I just cannot give this level of participation, it's too much for me. It takes me the better part of a week for me to recoup because I get no restul sleep during the event.

A fourth Driver makes it far more tolerable, I'd even be willing to throw a stint or two at a fifth Driver if need be.

...but 6 Drivers/Team is just too much, very much agree with you on this @Noodleguitar.

How you guys decide Im for it
But I must clear few things up first. You guys dont get me right in some things I can see.
When you all laugh when I said 6 drivers is too much, when Ken said we can join his team
I said that not because I would drive less, its because others are willing to drive less for me,even Ken said that.I don't want that, not fair from me like that

I'm starting to think this is a comedy of misconceptions because I know what I say even though much of it is nonsense and often on purpose (some times not so much if I'm to be honest lol).

All I care about is you ALL having fun and Driving an amount you're comfortable participating in. Ask most anyone around here as I've given up stints on nearly every event to date just so others can get more seat time.

Unlike most of you I don't need to drive these events to participate as I'm the sponsor. The fact you all are willing to run B2O liveries and represent us in these events is humbling and such a thrill for me that it's often near impossible to properly articulate.

I just want you all to have fun, I'll have fun regardless if I drive 2 stints or 6, doesn't matter to me.

Having said that the comment about 6 Drivers is not one that has come from you Dennis, it's come up before. At this point I think it's a given that 6 Drivers is too much for a 24 hour Endurance but in saying that there is room for improvement communicating this program as a whole to the Community.

By the end of the year I hope to have proper nomenclature in place that outlines our Endurance Program. It'll include vital areas we sometimes leave until the last minute such as Team finalization, actual participation windows and availability, and minimum participation ratios to name a few.

It's clear this program is growing so maybe it's time to grow a little bit with it.

@afroducks, @Slider, @Bedo, Bedo made some tweaks to the setup last night to try to dial out some of the understeer. I didn't have a chance to do an FFS on the set, but will tonight. Initially it seems faster and more stable, but I want to give it a FFS to make sure. I will post the setup here. Odd thing about the Ferrari, at least on this track, it seems to take 4 or 5 laps for it to really settle in and after that, lap times increase significantly.

Thinking ahead to filling out the driver schedule, I took a first stab at it, so check out the new tab for the Ferrari under the Schedule link.

@Slider, @afroducks, I sent you an iRacing invite for the B2O Lakehouse team that @Skid_Marc_ set up for an earlier race. It should have the B2O paint although @Kenadian will need to change the names if he has time.

Probably also need to decide who should qualify and how we want to register.
I think I drove with Lakehouse during the Sebring? In any case, I've accepted the invite and will come along for this evening's practice within next 30-40 minutes. I was today voluntold to work afternoons for rest of the week because nobody else on my team can and few people are on vacations, so I am out between 1pm and 11:30pm EST, so I'll do practices in the morning. Older setup felt fine for me, it even oversteered, but nothing that wasn't controllable. Will try adjusted one tonight (is it in TS?). Also, I'll adjust my availability for Saturday's first 2 hours. Would like to get a good sleep before the race.

Okay, I didn't see your name on the team, so I sent an invite.

I will share the setup when I get on in a little bit. And I can post it here as well. Bedo needs to take the first two stints based on his schedule. I added a tab with a draft Ferrari schedule, so see if that works for you or need to move stuff around.

Ferrari V3 setup, TC at 51.9% to start with, 2 clicks back about half way through.

Setup felt pretty good throughout the run. The odd slower laps toward the end were due to me overdriving the car looking for the shortest braking point, otherwise, I'd say within 0.5 start to finish.Offtracks weren't far off track, just nudging the line.

I just need a setup, @Noodleguitar.
In the file browser of the iRacing channel in TeamSpeak I posted a few setups:
  • My setup, adjusted from last year. Uses the spring set with medium rear stiffness. Understeers and is not very fast but very stable I think.
  • Denis's setup, which uses the soft rear spring set. I drove it yesterday and I think I'm a decent amount faster with it. The first time I went through Blanchimont I rolled the car though :p.
  • Ken's setup (adjusted from baseline). Pretty similar to Denis's setup, but it has more ARB and more diff preload. I haven't driven this one yet.
Mind that some of the setups come with high friction brake pads (my preference). For the race we'll likely run medium as a middle ground, unless one of the teams all likes either high or low. I think the brake bias Denis and Ken use is around 51-52%.

Blanchimont you can take full or with the slight lift to keep tires in good condition, same as Eau Rouge, with that set,it is build for that,Puhon and that corner leading to long straight but we can talk in practice, nothing is written in stone regarding setup because if we will not double stint tires we can go higher with cambers
Anyway, will @Noodleguitar you be on TS today maybe? Is it practice today?
