I'm confused now too, I thought we decided that the person with the lowest iRating in each group was going to register to try to get all 3 cars in the same split, except for Denis/Noel/Luc team. @Skid_Marc_ can you clarify what the green and white and asteriks mean?
In that case (just throwing it out there), it might be an option to let @Hydromani (1754) and @Jes_971 (1875) register the Merc team, which would average to 1814.5, which is right between Deb (1797) and Kelley (1821). I'm not sure how iRacing averages iRating if multiple drivers register - I've heard too much contradicting info about it at this point. So this suggestion might not help at all. Does anybody know more about it? Maybe that option was already discussed and discarded?

It'd be nice to have as many cars as possible in same split, with exception of Noel's team, but right now, I see 4 cars in 3 splits.

To get Ken's team with us and BMW, Jes and Michael would have to register it (1814 average).

@ShadniX beat me to it. If more than 1 driver registers with the team, it averages their iRating.

Good thing there are two o's in it, otherwise it may not be a very good setup :p

I'll try it today as well to see if it drives nicely.
lol never even considered that.

I took your set and our set and made some changes that seemed to free things up a bit but again I did less than 10 laps on it so I have no idea how it actually performs?

It's also one click less camber front at 3.1 compared to 3.0 on my understeer set and 3.2 on yours.

Theoretically that's how it should work, but it hasn't always been very consistent. See for example: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3576020.page

I say we try it. We're within 10-15 iR of each other and would be nice to have 3 cars in a split.
It would be great to have all cars in one split but I don't want anyone to think this is a priority as it is not.

From an aesthetic point of view it looks cool and I think puts our name out there better as people will recognize 2 or more of the same liveries in one session particularly when they're on multiple manufacturers.

Having said that, deliberately aiming for an iRating common denominator means some may end up driving in a split where they are not comfortable either due to elevated competition levels or not enough competition.

This is where aesthetic needs to take a back seat as it's fun and competition that matter first and foremost.

We'll all likely be in the same TS channel after things have settled down a few stints in so it's not like comms will be segregated unless of course that's your thing (yes I'm looking at you @Bedo you hurtful son of a bitch lol).

So in closing, DO NOT feel as if hitting the same split is mandatory.

Sure it's nice but not always practical.

The fuel charts for the Ferrari and both Mercedes teams have been added.

@LoucMachine / @SavreticD , for us it's a difficult choice. We could do 22 stops and run a bunch of 26-lap stints, or we can go 21 stops and have to do a lot of 28-lap stints which will likely require some fuel saving, but not a lot (0.07 L per lap below our average usage @ 2m17.5s lap times).

Are you guys also ok with running car number #101?

Considering the registering drivers will be ones with lowest iRatings in each team, it'll be fine. There will always be teams that will deliberately bring 6k aliens to low splits or something, but so far, I think we've been in pretty good splits.
I know it's not mandatory, but it's only good for everyone, and in this case, we're all pretty even on pace too.

@Deb setup feels good. I forgot JRT, so no fuel info.

I'm ok with trying to match that iRating target as well (It is probably around my skill level anyway - I think my iRating is a bit inflated due to recent adventures on the Nordschleife... :p)

Not everyone feels that way @Slider which is why it was re-iterated.

We've been running Endurance here for quite some time now and this is a comment that's come up on more than one occasion which is why I added the reminder.

I'm cool with trying to match up splits. I'm also cool with the opposite.

I'll be running the different sets tonight and decide which one I like best.

Not sure why part you're refering to in "not everyone thinks that", but in any case, it was just an idea, because we've done it in the past and even now at least few people seem fine with it.

@Hydromani and @Tony, @Jes_971 and I were running a tweaked version of the most comfortable setup (v2) that everyone liked but @Tony (sorry to single you out lol) didn't like for how much it pushed.

I made a few more tweaks to the quicker version that helped with stability a fair amount while making the car faster and improving on tire wear.

I really hope you both like it because I personally think it's a near perfect Endurance set for our Team.

I was 17's and 18's in this set and not pushing at all to get them. Car was very controllable even the one time I got loose cooking it into a corner like a moron. Nearly half the stint was 17's, mostly without draft whereas I could only manage 3 or 4 17's previously pushing.

@Hydromani, Team invite sent to Band of Others Endurance Team 95.
