Let me start by stating I think (hope, really) that there won't be any outside forces (mother nature) that will affect my participation in this weekends event. We have been receiving a lot of rain in my area lately. Our canal has crested the seawall and made its way into the backyard. It's only an inch or two deep but if it raises a couple more inches then we might have to evacuate. There is supposed to be light rain later today and a little more tomorrow but then it should stop for a couple days.

I'll keep you guys informed of the situation and will continue to practice. Even if we don't get enough rain to raise it to evacuation height, the wind could still ruin the party. If we get 15-20+ mph winds blowing the right way it can raise it over the breaching point. I've seen it raise up a foot or more from it blowing water in from the lake into the canals. Hopefully we won't have to pack up and leave but time will tell.
Oh no!!!!! I hope you don't have to, keep us updated.

That sucks Jes. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Your safety and health are way more important than a silly race.

Going to throw up an accelerated time hosted session in ~ 1 hour (7pm EST). 4x Accelerated time, 4 hours, running 8pm-Noon in-sim time. Anyone joining at the regular Practice Pals time should find themselves coming in at ~midnight, so should get a good mix of night and day driving.

I'll make the fuel schedules tonight. At least, for the Porsche and BMW, I don't think there is lap time / fuel usage data for the Mercedes team yet, or maybe I missed it.

For the Porsche I set the average lap time estimate to 8:37 but it's a bit of a wild guess with all the traffic, shadows and day/night. I did some laps in the day yesterday and I'm struggling to do sub 8:30 times on a clear track.

Looks like you were understeering on your 8:33. Noticed the car in certain conditions will have pretty uneven tire pressure, so might run another click up in the front for 151f/144r. Going to test it now that I finally have some free time before the race. Told Bedo what I found already, but basically whichever end's pressure is closer to 187-188kpa will be grippier. Since you had about 181f/185r hot kpa, your rear was grippier and guessing from telemetry looked like you were understeering pretty bad.

Bedo was was running 191f/194r hot kpa and was saying he was struggling with oversteer, when I was around 181f/185r I was getting understeer too. The uneven tire pressure is a pretty common thing it seems like so I'll try the click up on the front here soon.

Oh wait I was looking at my telemetry lol. VRS likes to show your own sessions when you click on teammates sometimes. Still you were on kind of low pressures under with higher rears and looks like there was a lot of front slip on the GP sections on your fastest of the last session.

@Noodleguitar My highest avg fuel consumption in the Merc was 15.55 and my lap times were 8:12 day, 8:15 night.

That left me 4L shy of 8 laps, so I think we'll definitely be aiming for no more than 15L per lap, so we can make 8 laps.

One click up on the fronts of the V3 setup felt *perfect*, behaved exactly as I've come to expect from the car when driving it in the normal series. Fronts went a couple KPA over the rears a couple times, but very close most of the time. You should be able to feel the difference pretty fast just in how much more responsive the steering feels, especially in mid-high speed corners that I've become used to trying to plow the car through.

Also, my first 0x stint! That should be at least slight evidence that the pressure adjustment feels better haha. Lap 4 wasn't even a mistake, just a lot of traffic.

Tested the adjustment in the hilariously grippy conditions that we had in Marc's hosted session by launching Bedo's fastest lap conditions through VRS. Wanted to make sure the tires wouldn't go over pressure in really grippy conditions and they didn't! Highest they got was 192 kpa which is perfectly fine. Think we finally got our magic numbers for all 24 hours. Also, new PB on first timed lap lol. That weather was broken.

Good news - house is going to be fine, water receding after some scary moments.

Bad news - I haven't really practiced due to spending the last two days helping neighbors fill sandbags and then sleeping, rinse, repeat. Had some fast food last night because it was too late and we were too tired to cook anything. Woke up this morning and now can't stay out of the bathroom due to what I believe is food poisoning. Thats all I got, I can't concentrate right now.

Damn, Jes. That's too bad. To be fair, between stress, hard labour, and poor food, it's very possible it's something more along the lines of dehydration and fatigue. Either way, drink a lot of water, and hope you're feeling better soon!

For the Porsche team; @Bedo @QuadroMan1 .

I'm using the v3 setup, but I think there was some confusion about the toe change when I complained about oversteer. I changed the toe to -1.0 on the front but I see you went to -2.0. My fault, I said one click down, which is more negative. I've been running -1.0 so far which I guess conserves the tires a bit better but if you guys are used to -2.0 I can run that as well.

For tire pressures I'm running a little lower than you Quadro, I think I have them at 1 click above the minimum but haven't really experimented with them.
