I can understand why you thought my latest setup was not ideal for endurance. I actually did a sprint with a more aggressive setup but it made me feel like I was driving the McLaren, so probably not very suitable for the race :)

I do still have one proposed change. It's exactly the same setup as the stable one, only with the tire pressures set to minimum. This feels a little bit slower on the outlap but it feels better to me compared to the previous setup after lap 0.

Wait, there's more than one Sebring?
Marc likes to put lots of logos of the race on the spreadsheets :p

Okay, I'll try it tonight, going to do some night practice.

It feels really bad on the first lap tires, mostly fine after that. It doesn't feel as overall stable as the very first set even after the tires come in...but it's not undriveable.

In that case anyone who likes the first setup better can just run the ~130 kPa tires. The ride heights will be illegal at ~100 kPa (about 2 mm lower) so I will find out if that causes any problems after a pit stop.

@Noodleguitar, it appears as if the original set is the one we're mostly comfortable in, well, as comfortable as you can be in this combination.

Is it possible to save the set with higher tire pressures and higher brake bias then adjust in session? I think the 3 of us are running somewhere around 47 brake bias but the in car adjustment is confusing so it's easier to just save in the set imho.

Sure, I was planning on having the original set loaded at the start of the race. Good point about the brake bias delta, it is a little confusing that you cannot tell from inside the car what your actual brake bias is at.

I'll make those changes tonight and share the setup with a clear name, such as "Nurburgring_probably_FINAL_v3_edit_0.46_test3.sto".

I assume the Porsche is running the team Band of Others Endurance #95? I have set up the car colors and number for that team, and we are all in it. Wheel colors are set to 490000 matte, not sure if that is correct.

@Kenadian , could you upload the team paint to Trading Paints? Also, could you submit it for the broadcast, in the unlikely chance that we end up in top split? It has happened before and it looks really silly to see our car on the broadcast with the website paint on it :p

The in car brake bias is just a delta from whatever was set in the setup. So if Noel sets it to 47'ish in the setup, then all of us will be 0.0% in the car, and he can adjust it to his taste from there.

So what if....we just registered the BMW tomorrow. Just run baseline, we'll probably faster and safer in that with no practice than I am ever going to be in this.

I have never driven the BMW GT3 car, I could give it a go tonight and see if I can be anywhere near pace, but I think it would be a disaster for me. If you guys want to though, go ahead, I get the GT4 is a pain and doubt we'll survive and I can get my Nord fix in VLN.

I created a proposal schedule for the Porsche team, could you guys have a look if it makes sense? Both Ken and Deb are not available/interested in driving at the end of the race so that is why you are also scheduled in those ungodly hours, Matt :)

Ken, if you don't like your last stint, we could switch stints 7 and 11, but that means you have to do a double during stint 6+7.

Good luck today Drivers!

No matter the outcome I'm proud to be a Team Member.

Be safe out there, and if you can't be safe, be sneaky!

...and at all costs never forget to proclaim your innocence no matter how guilty you are.

Right @Nejtun?

Well...what a thing that was. Regardless of the outcome or issues, as always, I had an amazing time. Driving with all of you is a thrill and a privilege.

On a personal note, I hold myself to a higher standard than binning the car three times in a race. I know it happens, I know we're all here to support each other, but I personally hold myself to a higher standard than that. I will be much more vocal next time if I feel completely unprepared and uncomfortable in a car like I did for this race.

Onward and upward to Lemans!

I agree, this was a tough one, but driving with all of you guys is very cool!!!! @Noodleguitar, you had me LMAO at the end :D I figured it was going to test all of our fortitude when I couldn't make it through an FFS in practice if there were a fair number of GT3s on the track  Oh well, as you said, on to Le Mans!!!!
