Can I suggest the Blancpain logo on the top of the windshield like the actual series?

Did some testing in the BMW and McLaren for the first time for 10 laps each at Lime Rock to get a feel.
BMW:
I like the feel of the BMW was really comfortable to drive and felt more stable under braking. Fastest lap was a 50.588 on lap 6 out of 10. My cons were the handling felt a little bit sluggish/ slow and lacked a little bit of speed. Both cars I tested with the baseline setup.
Macca:
Felt a little unfamiliar then the BMW to me and deffenitley liked the POV of the BMW better in my opinion but my fastest time was a 50.433 on lap 4 out of 10. I know such a short testing period isn't going to prove much but I felt the McLaren was a bit more responsive in terms of handling but was also a handful to drive.
Needless to say I'm a fan of both cars and it's hard to pick between the two but I think the underdog McLaren wins this round and will get my vote for the 2nd B20 Enduro team car.

Alright, so for the Monza race at September 26th, we have the following probably:
Team 1 - BMW Z4 GT3:
- Ken Lindberg
Team 2 - McLaren MP4-12C GT3:
- Noël Lüneburg
I don't mind driving solo but this probably means we'll end up in different splits. If you want Ken we can also share the BMW, I don't mind that either but then the McLaren team doesn't get any points in the first race. It also means one of us has to drive 2 stints and the other driver only 1.
To join the races as a team we need to create the teams and decide on a few things:
- Team names,
- Car numbers,
- Paints (Ken is working on it). I think only the team owner can upload them to Trading Paints,
- Wheel colour.
For the names we shouldn't take anything too long in my opinion. Maybe "B2O - 1" or "BandOfOthers - A" or "Band of Others - BMW". Another option is to substitute the last part for the corresponding car number. What would also be cool is having for example "Band of Others - Red" and "Band of Others - Blue" in case the paints colour schemes are different for both cars. But I'm not sure if that's a good idea if it requires more work on the McLaren paint.
Car numbers matter less to me but they have to be chosen as well. Maybe we could use the numbers #247 and #365 for the teams, as combination of 24/7 and 365 days a year? iRacing will give us a different number if they're already taken in the race.
Lastly wheel colour, I'm guessing the BMW will have black wheels? Then we could keep this the same on the McLaren, but I thought the bright yellow I am personally using also looks pretty cool (with the red/black paint scheme).

What I'd like to do is have you drive the McLaren Noel and I'll try to run solo on the BMW. There's no reason why either Team shouldn't score because they're a Driver short.
I'm not promising 3 hours here. I'll do my best but 3 hours Driving is too much for me so just please keep that in mind.
This does mean that we need committed 3rd Drivers because the Driver shortage is likely to happen again.

In order to keep the paints consistent I'd like it if we could run Black Rims but there is a color red that can also be run and keep the cars looking consistent which is ok too.
Aside from that, let's hook up Monday night and get the Teams squared away.
Lastly, I cannot promise the Macca paint will be ready. The screens you've seen are one side only, the other side isn't even mocked up let alone started. The BMW is also a good 1 - 2 hours away from completion so my time is running out.
I'll try to get as far into the Macca as possible but it could be pretty ruf looking in the beginning.

I fully agree on the names, having suffixes such as A or 1 makes it sound like one of them is the main team. I think it would be most clear if we put something in between the B2O and the suffix, such as "Band of Others - BMW" or "Band of Others [BMW]".
