I want to ensure that all sessions I setup are done so correctly as I intend to host at least a few more sessions prior to the event.

@Sam Roselaar even though you can make an hour less than 50 minutes, you are correct , I linked the same page as the attachment for the schedule on my post

But, I got the info from the post you linked by Robin, I also emailed the staff and they told me it was at night! (i didn't of course but for Kens sanity I am going to try to find confirmation somewhere other than the original posters confirmation) Morning is all we have to go on so far though. I hope it is correct :S

Can't remember where I saw it in the forums but I also read a staff post saying this race will follow Blancpain rules, meaning we have to take tires during all pit stops with a 10-minute pit window every hour from the start of the race.

I don't mind being forced to take tires, because I would anyway...but having to manage a 10 minute pit window, with everything else going on in a 24h race, sounds hellish.

this would have to be 4 different schedules for every car because for starters the mazda's have lap times of over 10 minutes.... so even for porsche the window has to be around 18 mins more like 21 for mazda (around a 2lap window) which is absolutely tiny compared to a 4-5 lap window in blancpain (for most tracks)

and this forced pitstop ruins all strategy. it would just be driving mindlessly since iracing determines when u pit and not you :/

besides not taking tires on the porsche is a very valid strategy in some situations. i used it in VLN 1 and it gained me 2 positions!!!!!

i will pray to the iRacing gods that this rule will be dropped. i will cry if it doesn't

Damn you , I put in a decent lap as well. My goal right now is getting into the 8:29s, I think it must be doable.

i'll second that. with some extra practice i should be able to get that, however i'm not sure if i can get lower than that. and on top of that my main priority is still taking the car home safely every stint.

i edited the main post driver list to get it a bit more organized.
none of it is permanent, (top split team is just speculations)

as of now we have at least 2 porsche teams confirmed.
some drivers i listed as unconfirmed since to my knowledge they haven't been in practice yet, altough i may be wrong.

is all the edited info correct?

hopefully we'll get some more drivers confirmed to have a bigger 2nd team or a 3th team.

@Nejtun is it true that you are not driving this?

@incndry would you mind driving in a small team because i think you're definitly fast enough to join the top team

upcoming week the Porsche is running on the nordschleife instead of the week prior to the 24???
weird planning, but are we planning on running some races together in practice pals?
