iRacing Endurance Races 2015

I'd like to dip my toes into some enduro. Only have the Ruf and Ford thinking about getting the BMW. Deffenitly prefer the Ford over the ruf.

Alright so let's organize this a bit better. I think 1900 GMT is the go time for most everyone so that's good.

Another thing that would be nice is for the drivers who register the two different teams to have a similar iRating, since splits are based off their iR (afaik).

When registering the team to a race, only the IR of those registered DRIVERS is taken into consideration. If you had an alien on the team, he takes the team into session, gets into top split, rest of you join after.

I've already got a few team mates that fit better into my schedule and language and we might go for PRO. possibly BMW too, maybe Ruf.

I agree... but I think it is more important for everyone to be in the car they prefer / are comfortable in. But I think everyone is very similar minus an alien or two.

That's how I ended up in the second split in the Sebring 12 hours with an iRating of 4.3k.

That's how I would do it (if Davey is able to buy the macca ofcourse) I wouldn't do ford because it's very slow this build IMO..

Ford isn't slow this season. It's just harder (as it should be) to be fast. Same with any other car. No more OP Frauds.

I don't think we have enough people to field a ford team...

I think the cars will have to be:

Team 1 - BMW
Team 2 - BMW or Macca

So Puma's lineup does not seem too far off. But everyone needs to confirm.

I have no issue buying the BMW or Macca, adaptability is one of my strong points. I do prefer the BMW over the McLaren but doesn't matter to me on which one is chosen for the 2nd Endurance team. Probably end up buying both anyways so i can let you guys know which car I'm the most comfortable in out of the two.

I think what will make this process a lot easier is if everyone can commit to one car as a Primary and another as a Secondary.

Just remember, it's not a bad thing to have a few too many Drivers here in case someone drops out. There is nothing saying that because I'm on Team 1 (for example) that I don't drive Team 2 once because they're short a Driver.

I also believe what's important here is that we all Practice together as much as humanly possible so committing to a night during the week is a good idea.

Currently Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays are no good for me as I'm trying to commit to them as Twitch Stream days and all are currently game/event specific.

Having said that, Mondays is Practice Pals Streams so if you want to make it Practice Pals Enduro then I'm good with that as well.

We can even do 2 Sessions if you guys wish. A long Session in our Primary and a shorter Session in our Secondary.

So in closing, what is your Primary and Secondary Vehicle and what day(s) of the week would you like to Team Practice?

Primary: BMW Z4 GT3
Secondary: McLaren MP4-12C GT3

Practice Day: Monday or Tuesday night preferred or anytime during the weekend.

And yes, what you say about teams is not restrictive, but establishing core teams is a good starting point.

Oh I agree. It's imperative actually that the core Teams know how to work together.

I just wanted everyone to be aware that there is plenty of room for movement within the overall Team itself.

Incidentally, I'll only have time to add Sponsors and Driver names to Primary vehicles by the weekend so it's imperative we get the Primary Teams buttoned up no later than Wednesday.

Looks like bad luck for you Kyle. They only race every other week and the first one is during your move to your new house:

There will be 6 races, one race every other week starting in week 2 with three time slots during those race weeks. The 3 time slots will be the same as the season 3 endurance series.

Thursday I've committed to Elite: Dangerous months ago and want to continue on that trend. We've missed the past few weeks but I won't be missing this Thursday.

Friday is and will always be League so not much we can do there.

I need to have these days put aside so I can start creating this illusive Twitch Stream Schedule I've been working on for over a year

Well I'm certainly out the first week. I'm pissed. Unbelievable luck I have. I really wanted to race Monza too.

That doesn't make any sense with Oct 10 [would be the second race of BES] also being the Petit Le Mans (10h). What kind of crap is that?

Unless I read the rules wrong you cannot be on more than one Team. You can sign up to a maximum of 4 Drivers but none can be added after that point.

You can also not change cars.

...so whatever the Teams are, they will stay that way at least the Season.

I think that only applies if you're going for the pro-license by finishing in the top 40 as a team.
