Finally did my big full system upgrade!

Been waiting a while for Intel to release a CPU worth picking up. This is the first build I've ever done where I weighed aesthetics heavily in the build. Normally it's just slap together whatever parts are best in my price range, no matter how god awful the colors...but since I got a case with tempered glass I wanted to make sure it looked swank.

CPU: Intel i7-8700K (delidded)
Motherboard: Asus Prime Z370-A
Memory: 32GB G.Skill TridentZ DDR4-3200 CL14
GPU: 1080 Ti FE
Storage: 1TB 850 EVO + 500GB 840 EVO
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M SE

Pictures!

Overall I'm super pleased with how it turned out. I do have some extra cable combs coming as I want to clean up the 24-pin and PCI-e cables a bit. Notably I have a couple of seven wide cable combs coming so I can actually comb the PCI-e cables together and only split them near the very end where they connect to the card.

I was actually thinking about that, right now I think ETS2 is like 4.99 on Steam.
Stop thinking and get it , that is a bargain!!!

also that i|Pad button box thing is the shit!! If there was something like that in VR I would get it in an instant.

@Big_J_29 Please more info on the iPad app that you have running. I have an iPad that I would like to use with iRacing. I use it for when I'm flight simming so it's always in my office.

Thanks,
John

The name of the app is called Air Keyboard, I think it was like 2.99, once you get it installed on the iPad then there are directions on what to do next as far as linking it to Windows. Once you have it up and running you then go into Design Keyboard/ Download Template and there are 2-3 for iRacing but the one I like the best is the one designed by iRacing v1.0 Gwakefield, that is the name of the overlay. I did find some buttons that where not programed correctly but it is an easy fix, you can just edit the existing layout button by button if you like.

Downloaded it and trying it now. I need to figure out how to edit the buttons. I wish the Gwakefield one had a reset car/tow button.

Go into setting/ Design Layouts then pick the layout you are using in this case it would be the Gwakefieldv1.0, from there you can select individual buttons and map them to what you want even change the text etc. You can if desired remap one of the Track IR Buttons to the Reset/ Tow Option.

The "Exit Car" button, in the top left, won't reset you if you're on the race track? Seems like a missed opportunity if it doesn't, since hitting Esc-key will do both...
