Uhm, whatever you decide to do, I just want to state that I'm still not in a state to do double stints. I should be able to do single stints but will need a break after each. And I'd like to keep it at 3-4 stints overall. Sorry about the circumstances, but my injuries from last month are still not fully gone.

Ok , so the snap I heard earlier in the week in practice happened again today and I ended up with no brakes.
On further inspection the two bolts in my loadcell have sheared off (that was the two snap sounds), the ends of the bolts are embedded in the loadcell and I will tell H.E tomorrow but there will be no chance of them sending me anything new by the weekend.
It would not be sensible for me to leave it hope for them doing anything about it in time so I am going to have to sit this one out. Apologies team, I do not have a fast solution to remedy this.
Ah d00d, I'm so sorry to hear it, that really sux.

Under normal circumstances I could do more stints however I've recently learned I've arthritis in both knees and my spine. I was hoping to keep this to myself but there it is.

Sitting on my chair and streaming for 4 - 6 hours is ok but modulating pedals for any length of time is agony.

It gets better in summer months but wet and/or cold days, it's so bad I don't even take stairs anymore, just elevators.

The last time I took the stairs from my 3rd floor apartment to parking, I was out of commission for 1 full week.

As much as I sincerely want to, I don't know if I can single-handedly fill the gaps?

I'm sorry to hear that, that sucks!!!!!!!!! But on the good side, I talked to @Ogami Itto today and he is off on Saturday and gets home from Phoenix tomorrow early. So he going to do some practice and if he doesn't get called out to fly on Friday, he can likely be our fourth, so perhaps we can still do the race :). If you still want to practice tomorrow, I'll be around.

Assuming we manage to make the race, I suggest I cover Nejt's stints.

Toward the end or the race I can keep the end double if needed:

One more thing, I no longer have access to ANY PAINTS so we're stuck with the IMSA livery.

I lost the drive on the weekend and will likely have to find a service capable of pulling data from a dead SSD.

Nearly 15 years worth of data, stupidly stored on one Samsung SSD, lost as of this point in time.

When it rains, it pours.

Ouch to the creaky knees! I do hope Ogami can manage to fill in the gaps. (@Deb see how Ken kept my nice colours on the schedule!!!!)
I emailed Heusinkveld last night with the details and photos and they said they can send me a new loadcell but it will not get to me in time so I am definitely not going to be available, apologies again folks.
On the plus side, if this part had failed during the race then not only would I have wrecked the car without question but probably taken someone with me in the process which would have been way worse.

Nejtun sees updated BoP and stomps his brake pedal into three pieces out of frustration.

If you need to stop, I can take the last stint, unless it is ridiculously short, we can see how it plays out :)

Was fun driving today until @Deb decided to bully me in T1.

...oh ya, and she's sharing some jank setup so the rest of us are slower than she is.

Gotta watch out, she's one cagey mofo.

Bee tee dub, TC 6 is better getting up the mountain me thinks, little to no wheel spin, even on cold tires.

Also, was running brake bias at 45.4 and it really helped turn the car better.

...but, these were my first stints, could be completely full of sh1t.

Well done both teams for getting through that killer endurance!
Time to get your wellies out for a (hopefully) rainy Sebring!
Speaking of Sebring, since I am out of town the week before Sebring and don't get home until Friday, I thought I'd do some advance planning and practice early. I found this setup for the 296 and will give it go. If there are other cars, we are contemplating, let me know, so I can practice that as well.

I am having a look at the BMW this week, I did a few laps yesterday and today and it feels quite comfortable. Other than the Ferrari, I have not tried anything else.

I'm willing to bet we'll see rain at this years Sebring 12hr.

It may be in our best interests to run a few practice sessions with a full AI grid to see how the track reacts to that much traffic in all rain conditions.
