Last night i tried for 4 hours only to find out today that the tanker i tried was bugged.

I was just randomly yelling "Maaaagnum" and "Rifle" unencrypted over the radio, apparently that worked back in the desert storm days. No such luck ingame tho, they just stayed silent and blew us away with everything they had once we turned our backs to them.

The first thing I did was pre-order the F-14, because it's my personal favorite. Of course it's not out yet, and I'd planned to spend the next two weeks playing Ace Combat 7 anyways, so I had time to kill. Unfortunately, it only came out on console last Friday, and it won't come out on PC until February 1st, just in time for me to go back to work on the 2nd, so.... fuck me, I figure I'll get started on being a crappy sim-pilot before I get my immortal-average-god-tier Arcade Pilot skills rolling next month.

I was considering picking up another jet of the similar period anyways, but instead I've seen all of your recent posts and grabbed the F/A-18 module. I'm not really a big fan of the plane itself, but it just makes the most sense all around from both a combat standpoint and a community stand point. Probably the most practical thing about this whole venture.

Finally, despite saying I wouldn't, I also picked up all the terrain packs because I have no self-control and I've already wasted enough money on this that $140 wasn't going to make me hate myself any more!

After messing around with gyro headtracking using my phone i went ahead and ordered a delanclip + ps3 camera.
