Also, @Duke I can't change the team name, so could you change the team name(s) to "Band of Others Endurance"? What is the 2nd team we're using?

also what paint are we running i prefer the red/black one with mostly black. are they made yet? we have to register them on time for the broadcast

Yes we'll be running red on black as usual as that's our known Endurance format.

@Zac_Sonic I'll need your help with official stickers and placement to make these cars appear as they should in the real world.

What is most important is that I know who's 100% confirmed on which Team so I can get this done tonight and early tomorrow.

Also @Nejtun, do you want the KIA done as well, please advise.

I've renamed as suggested and also renamed the C7DP Team to Band of Others Endurance 2 in case we want to use that one.

i preferably DON'T want to drive from 5pm to 2am PDT (2am to 11am GMT+2)

@Duke This information is assuming that you DON'T change iRacing's default "decal sheet". Its a little short notice, and I don't want to dump that on you.

It looks like the class that the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (991) will be representing is known as "SP7". Bilstein appear to have a decal centered in the front bumper of ALL cars running this race, and Falken appears on the trailing edge of the front fender on ALL cars running the race DESPITE the series being open tyre, so the Falken logo appears along side Michelin, Dunlop, Bridgestone, and Yokohama. Its weird, but whatever.

There are few consistencies between cars, not to mention classes. There are no class "colors" or identifiers that I can find. The only consistencies I can find are; Falken tyres, Bilstein shocks, and Zurich Insurance Company.


Falken - I, personally, like the layout of the #61 car, with Falken on the trailing edge of the fender, the Michelin Man below. However, the #150 car scrapped the Michelin Man, pushed the Falken logo forward, and put Bilstein on the fender instead of on the front bumper... *sigh*


Bilstein - Should get one sticker centered on the front bumper (there is room below iRacing's Michelin logo) AND, either; one large centered logo OR two smaller logos, centered on the rear bumper.
There should also be a Bilstein's logo on both sides of the front bumber (below iRacing's 'Mobil 1' logo), right in front of the front wheel, and on the rear bumper right behind the rear wheel.


Zurich - iRacing's Cup car places the car numbers quite high on the door, so I would recommend flipping the number card layout, and just put a large blue rectangle with a white outline UNDER the existing number with the "ZURICH Z" Zurich Insurance Company logo in it. In the short time frame we have, I feel that would be easier than trying to build an entire "Decal Sheet". There isn't a 'standard' number location in this series, and iRacing doesn't let you go moving the number around, so I wouldn't fuss over it too much. The Porsche Cup number board looks pretty nice anyways!

• Deutsche Post - Listed partner, but haven't seen their logo on any of the cars

I didn't really give a timeframe because I'm usually around the entire time given I'm streaming the event as well.

I'm pretty sure I'll be starting off, driving somewhere in the middle and hopefully not at the end although I will if I have to.

I'm a bit concerned we only have 4 confirmed on Team 2 which in unfortunate. I thought the Team would have at least 6 drivers.

Hopefully the MIA Drivers chime in or they risk driving a livery without their name displayed.

I should be around most of the day, would prefer to drive single stints, if possible. Would prefer not to drive the start, so probably start around 8 or 9 AM central, whatever works. Would prefer not to drive between 11 PM and 6 AM central Saturday to Sunday, but if you need me to, I get it.

I'll check in with Bedo on times. Ken, I'll PM you his email address if you want to send him an invite.

Just txtd Bedo and he can drive from 8 - 10 am Saturday morning, busy during the day but can drive in the evening. Said he is free after 10pm and can do like a midnight stint and can do Sunday morning as well.

He usually can double stint. Said he can do a QS if you need him to open.

Everyone on team 1 should be in, or invited to, Band of Others Endurance. We're currently running red rims (hex #490000, matte) and car #101. If this needs changing, let me know.

@Duke , the Racespot broadcast needs our paint before tomorrow morning, so if it's not done by then I can send in the regular B2O paint without customization. When they're done could you also upload the paint for Band of Others Endurance, id 49169, to Trading Paints?

I'll get some fuel numbers tonight so that I'll have a somewhat decent stint schedule ready tonight as well. Does an average lap time of 8:35 sound reasonable? Without traffic I should be able to do 8:27-8:30, depending on whether rubber is gonna hurt the pace significantly. It won't account for double stinting tires so we'll have to manually factor that in if that's the route we're going.

If team 2 wants a fuel schedule as well I can certainly generate one but I'd need an average lap time, or at least an estimated average fuel usage per minute.

My average lap time across 8 laps was 8:35.126 on a relatively clear track.

problem is that we need a 3 hour session to double stint
edit: i guess i can host a 4 hour session if there isn't already one up, but i want realistic track conditions (the same ones we have in open practice) to get a good idea of lap times. how do i do that?
