Good fun last night.

I'll be back around Bast.. part 2 of the CG! Since it's a tiered system (hooray, we've been asking for this for weeks as the recent CG's have been 1 tier) the top 5% reward should be better than yesterdays measly 3 mil!

This is the first Rare goods CG I've come across.. it's all about speed and not about cargo size! I might break out the Asp for this one if I'm not getting interdicted much.

ooo. Nice. How far is it from Bast to Heike? I can't check right now. I'm at Bast with my Python, but I wonder if it would be easier to fit a hauler to get ~30ly range and just hop back and forth...

Heike is 124 LY away. It's doable with an extra fuel tank instead of one of the cargo bays in a python - in mine it's about 9-10 jumps.

You can sign up at anytime before it finishes, you don't need to have participated in any other events/community goals. This one expires in 7 days from the start - or if the top tier is reached before the 7 days are up (About 6days and 19 hrs are left at this point). With the tier system, as long as tier 1 is reached everyone who contributes will get a reward. How much of a reward you get when the community goal ends depends on how much you contribute and how far the community gets.

Here's an example from one of the bounty hunting events a while back. It finished when it hit tier 8 which was 1 billion total credits. I cashed in 2.3m and got a 12m reward. Definitely one of the better CG's!

It's taken about ten minutes to load up this page and I'm fully expecting it to not get to post this message but if it does miraculously work then it looks like I'll be unable to play anything online until it gets fixed - dammit.
